This is a beautiful river beach on the other side of the Tejo, with views back to the castle of Belver, and a nice little bar/restaurant serving very tasty tapas. It is a 25 minute drive from the windmill, or 10 minutes from Belver, but you can also walk from Belver across the road bridge and along the boardwalk (signposted walk PR1). If you park in the layby close to the weaving museum you can walk to the river beach in less than an hour, meaning that you will deserve an ice cream when you get there!
