A private boat trip along the River Tejo is a lovely way to spend an hour or two. Starting from Praia Alamal (where you can pick up a few drinks from the bar for your journey!), your very own skipper will steer you along the Tejo, taking in the sights and sounds of this remote area. You will see otherwise unreachable colonies of Griffon Vultures, the remnants of a railway system long past, and a beautiful wild landscape. If you can understand Portuguese, you will be regaled with tales of the history of the area, if not - sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!
